The latest BCWLP class has just begun and is now underway and I am so excited for our newest members.
We laughed a lot and got a good overview of what the next six weeks will bring. After getting everyone registered and fired up for their health and fitness journey, we did a short, twenty minute walking routine that can be done indoors, after work, watching your favorite TV show! It is still quite warm here in RI, so even though we were sweating, it was still comfortable in the air-conditioned Rec Center.
We jumped right into setting goals for ourselves and what we expect from the class and each other. Members asked questions which got us all thinking about our health in terms of how it stands today, and how it could be in the near future.
We enjoyed some yummy snacks consisting of a wholesome green smoothie made from fresh fruits and vegetables and a Mediterranean salad with sprouted barley as the base.
I enjoyed meeting you and reconnecting with those of you I haven’t seen in a while. I can’t wait to see you again next week.
