With little snow this past winter and the weather being very hot, dry and humid all month long with very little to no rain, the NWS put out a fire warning for our area this past week, which I don’t recall ever seeing before. Wouldn’t you know it, though, it started pouring cats and dogs on us right around Wright’s Restaurant during the last ten minutes of our drive home from Maine and I had to pull over twice in three miles! So, the tomato vines looked horrible and the strawberry plants started to look like straw and the grass was pretty burnt to a crisp as well, so this month’s garden photos are slim pickin’s, but I’ll take it!
